Eulogy for My Dear Friend,
Pandima Devi எனது அன்பு தோழி பாண்டிமா தேவிக்கு

I know her from 1978 ever since I joined Govt Girls Higher Secondary School. We were neighbour's in west K K Nagar as well. Lot of good memories in going to her home on several occasions as a teenager. Devi is very good in math and I used to learn from her. Both the families know each other and both of us had a great schooling together.1978ல் நான் அரசு பெண்கள் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளியில் சேர்ந்ததில் இருந்து அவளை அறிவேன். மேற்கு கே.கே. நகரில் நாங்கள் அக்கம்பக்கத்தினராகவும் இருந்தோம். இளம் வயதில் பலமுறை அவள் வீட்டிற்குச் சென்றதை நினைவுகூரும் நல்ல நினைவுகள் பல. தேவிக்கு கணிதத்தில் மிகவும் திறமை இருந்தது, நான் அவளிடமிருந்து கற்றுக்கொள்வேன். இரு குடும்பங்களும் ஒன்றை ஒன்று அறியும், நாங்கள் இருவரும் சேர்ந்து சிறப்பாக பள்ளிப்படிப்பை முடித்தோம்.

Devi was very hard working and kept on studying to get her PhD in her chosen field while taking care of her mom, husband, children and her close extended family and friends. She always kept in touch with close friends and showed genuine interest in their welfare. Great organizer of get togethers. Very sincere, God fearing, trustworthy and a reliable gem of a person.தேவி மிகவும் கடின உழைப்பாளி, தன் தேர்ந்தெடுத்த துறையில் PhD பெறும் வரை படித்துக்கொண்டே, தன் அம்மா, கணவர், பிள்ளைகள் மற்றும் நெருங்கிய உறவினர்கள் நண்பர்களையும் கவனித்துக்கொண்டாள். நெருங்கிய நண்பர்களுடன் எப்போதும் தொடர்பில் இருந்து, அவர்களின் நலனில் உண்மையான அக்கறை காட்டினாள். சந்திப்புகளை ஏற்பாடு செய்வதில் சிறந்தவள். மிகவும் நேர்மையானவள், கடவுள் பயமுள்ளவள், நம்பகமானவள், ஒரு அரிய நல்ல மனுஷி.

I thank God for having Devi in my life for 48 years and continue to cherish those memories for life. May Pandima Devi's soul rest in peace.48 ஆண்டுகளாக தேவி என் வாழ்க்கையில் இருந்ததற்காக கடவுளுக்கு நன்றி சொல்கிறேன், அந்த நினைவுகளை வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் போற்றுவேன். பாண்டிமா தேவியின் ஆன்மா சாந்தியடையட்டும்.
